Forms, access, crew, tools, weather, and truck path need to line up.
How much concrete do I need?
Start with length x width x thickness, then convert to cubic yards. Your contractor or finisher should confirm the final quantity.

Step 1
Gather the project basics before you order.
You do not need a perfect script. You just need enough information for a practical delivery conversation: where the truck is going, what you are pouring, about how much concrete you need, and when the crew will be ready.
- Delivery address and best contact on site
- Project type: driveway, slab, footing, pad, sidewalk, patio, or site work
- Dimensions, planned thickness, or a cubic-yard estimate
- Preferred pour date, time window, and any schedule constraints
Step 2
Check jobsite readiness before the truck rolls.
Concrete is time-sensitive once it is on the truck. A little prep helps avoid delays, extra stress, and a crew standing around while access or forms get sorted out.
- Forms, base, reinforcement, and finish tools are ready
- Truck path is stable, clear, and wide enough for access
- Finishers, helpers, water, and cleanup plan are lined up
- Weather, soft ground, overhead lines, gates, and tight turns are considered
